Enhancing social turn-taking for preschoolers with autism


This is a current project.


Description

In this study, social language of children with autism will be measured using an automated vocal analysis system called LENA (Language Environmental Analysis) which is a digital speech recorder. It is one of the first studies ever to use an atomatic voice recorder to measure the effects of intervetion on the amount of words and turns exchanged between a parent and child.

Participant Recruiting

This project is enrolling up to five families of children with autism to participate in a paid study that includes a five-month home-based social language intervention. Learn more about how to participate by downloading a printable flier and application.
